In A Violent Nature is a Canadian Horror movie that gives off Friday the 13th vibes with a different perspective-the killer’s point of view. The killer in this movie Johnny had a disability and was killed when he was a child-hey just like Jason. His father discovered his body and was killed as well-just like Mrs. Voorhees. Now despite the similarities, Johnny goes on a killing spree and we the audience see his point of view. This movie has the classic horror movie formula-sex, drugs, a would be hero and a final girl. Now Jason, I mean Johnny has a grudge to settle and will kill anyone that gets in his way.

The cinematography and sound design effectively enhance the film’s mood, contributing to a sense of unease and tension. While the film’s portrayal of violence may be difficult for some viewers, I must say this movie has a lot of gory death scenes that will appease horror fans and also pay homage to our favorite summer camp killer Jason Voorhees. A cameo from Lauren-Marie Taylor( Vickie from Friday the 13th Part 2) was a great surprise. In all this was a decent movie and I like the killer POV. There is a sequel in the works so Johnny will be back.
