Corato II Pizza-60-91 Myrtle Ave, Ridgewood, NY 11385 – Chicken Marsala Deep Dish Pizza
Living here in New York City there are so many great restaurants to check out, but being a Brooklyn girl living in Queens, sometimes I am biased about pizza. Most people will tell you that their borough or neighborhood has the best pizza. Well that is another discussion for another day. Living here in Queens I was lucky enough to find some really good spots and one of them is Corato II Pizza located in Ridgewood. Now the pie we had was the Deep Dish Chicken Marsala, and it did not disappoint. First of all it was loaded with Chicken Marsala-chicken, marsala wine, fresh herbs and portabella mushrooms topped with a mountain of cheese on a thick crust (taste like focaccia).
One slice will fill you up for the night. The pizza was not greasy and it was the perfect topping to crust ratio. What I like about Corato II is that you can buy specialty pizza by the slice. The selections on the menu are sure to make your taste buds happy. This pizza was a real treat and a bargain at $32, I would gladly pay for quality. So stop by Corato II and grab a slice. You can order by phone at 718-381-5656 or online at Slice.com, Grub hub, Seamless and Uber Eats.
