He’s back!!! After 36 years the Juice is loose. Returning cast members-Michael Keaton, Wynona Rider, Catherine O’Hare and new cast member Jenna Ortega make Beetlejuice Beetlejuice a well deserved sequel to the original Beetlejuice(1988), that introduced our favorite demon and the Deetz family.

Lydia Deetz is a ghost medium and a mom, Delia Deetz is still making crazy art and Lydia’s daughter Astrid is going through typical teenage angst. Beetlejuice is running a complaints department in the afterlife with Bob and has been haunting Lydia for a while. This movie gives you more background on Beetlejuice before he died and why the Soul Sucker Delores is after him.

In typical fashion someone called Beetlejuice to help with problems in the after life that would affect the living world-there is going to be a lot of chaos. The movie does start a little slow but picks up the pace-especially in the after world. To be honest the after life has more life than the living world-music, dancing, non stop action.

I must say the film did bring back a lot of fond memories of the original movie-its funny, a little scary for younger children and a very enjoyable story with the possibility for another film(hopefully not another 36 years). This a movie you need to see if you’re a fan of the original, let me be clear you need to watch the original to understand this movie. Beetlejuice Bettlejuice is now playing in theaters.
