Stream (2024) is a horror film directed by Michael Leavy, featuring a star-studded cast that includes David Howard Thornton, Jeffrey Combs, Danielle Harris, and the legend himself Tim Curry (welcome back Tim). The movie is produced by the team (by the way from Staten Island-this Brooklyn girl sending love)  behind Terrifier, Terrifier 2, and the upcoming Terrifier 3. The movie and follows guests at The Pines, a hotel in PA where a group of masked killers stalk the residents. 

This movie is packed with cameos from horror legends, making it a treat for horror fans. The plot of the movie is interesting, the killings are  being live-streamed for an audience that bets on the killers and the victims. I thought Terrifier change the horror game with the introduction of Art the Clown, however I enjoy the concept of using modern technology as a future tool of horror if used correctly-and it was for this movie.

The movie is has some gory and interesting kill scenes but not as intense as Terrifier(by the way was voted as goriest horror movie). The movie keeps a sense of mystery, leaving some aspects, like the motivations of the killers, and the secret group that is running the Stream for a potential sequel. Also watch the end credits- shout out to The Atrium movie theater in Staten Island.  

Make sure you check out Stream, it will be available on VOD platforms, Amazon, Apple and Vudu on October 15. * Terrifier 3 will be in theaters on October11.
