Hello everyone and this review is special, it’s a double review- The George Lucas Talk Show and it was the second time ever that the show was at The Bell House. The GLTS is for Star Wars fans and non-fans with George Lucas-played by comedian Connor Ratliff having a regular talk show that is hilarious. George is joined by his partner in crime Watto-played by Griffin Newman and the show’s producer Patrick Cotnoir. This show featured special guests aka power guests Jack Quaid and Tawny Newsome from Star Trek: Lower Decks and H. Jon Benjamin from Bob’s Burgers.
If you have never watched the GLTS you are in for a great time, the unscripted and improvised show covers pop culture, behind the scenes Hollywood stories and will have you laughing. I like how the guests were really having a great time and could not contain their laughter. It was a real treat having Jack, Tawny and Jon at this show because it coincide with NY Comic Con at the Javits Center. I also love the team of Connor, Griffin and Patrick. They kept the questions fun, light and you never knew what would happen next.
The Bell House is a venue in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn that has a cozy, laid back vintage vibe. The Bell House hosts a large variety of events from live music, comedy shows and themed parties. I like The Bell House because it gives off the old school club vibes like CBGB, Limelight and The Tunnel. The staff was friendly and professional, with good food and excellent drinks. A great place to visit and check out a show.
