Over the weekend, we attended New York City Comic-Con 2024 and found an incredibly engaging comic book called, “Average Joe” created by Thomas Ryan.

What is Average Joe about?

Imagine a bustling city where superheroes and ordinary citizens brush shoulders on the busy streets. This is the world of Average Joe, where we follow the mundane life of Max Buchanan, an unassuming employee at Hero Public Relations. The people of Frost City are enamored with their beloved hero, General Justice. His incredible strength and remarkable feats have earned him worldwide recognition and the top spot in the hearts and minds of people around the globe.

But when Max is promoted to work on General Justice’s marketing campaign, he begins to peel back the curtain and uncover a disturbing truth about the world’s favorite superhero. As he delves deeper into this dark secret, Max finds himself on a dangerous path filled with heartache, danger, and self-discovery.

And so begins this hero’s journey, as an average man navigates a world where superheroes are treated like celebrities and twisted villains roam freely.
