Imagine if you can go back in time to the year 1863 for Thanksgiving!
We can’t travel back in time…YET…but we can to travel to Long Island to watch a reenactment of a 19th century Thanksgiving!
Old Bethpage Village Restoration is a living museum with restored historical homes to recreate a 19th century town. Volunteers dressed in vintage clothing demonstrates and gives visitors the history of what life was like during this time.
It’s a great experience for locals and tourists alike.
Not only will they have their Thanksgiving reenactment, there are other holidays events as well (tickets are required – Adults $15.00 Seniors $12.00 Children under twelve $12.00 and Children under four is FREE ):

Nov. 30th & Dec 1st: 1863 Thanksgiving Celebration (no food samples)
Dec. 7th & 8th: St. Nicholas Day
Dec. 20th – 23rd & Dec. 26th –29th: Candlelight Evenings (expect darkness and beauty!)
