Every Easter, the streets of New York City become a vibrant tapestry of color as people don their finest clothes and showcase their most exquisite bonnets along Fifth Avenue. This lively parade, a cherished tradition dating back to the 1870s, transforms the city into a spectacle of elegance and creativity.

APRIL 20, 2025 (SUNDAY) – Starts around 10 am and continuing until 4 pm, the parade marches north on Fifth Avenue, from 49th Street to 57th Street. And it’s FREE.

NOTE: NYC’s Easter Parade is not an official parade, more of a display of creative Easter attire and Holiday revelry.

The best place to enjoy the festive atmosphere is near St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Suggested: Wear a distinctive bonnet and join the vibrant parade to fully immerse yourself in the celebration.
