Since their inception in 1965, the New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer, have become a quintessential summer tradition in New York. These events turn city parks into vibrant gatherings where people can enjoy the company of friends and family along with free music under the night sky. Each concert ends with a spectacular fireworks show.
From June 4–7, 2025, Gustavo Dudamel, who will take on the role of Oscar L. Tang and H.M. Agnes Hsu-Tang Music & Artistic Director Designate in September, will conduct the Orchestra in performances across Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens.
