Dive into the adventure of a lifetime! The Shark Dive at the Long Island Aquarium places you in a cage, right in the midst of circling sharks and a unique collection of fish that can’t be found together anywhere else on the planet.

This unparalleled extreme adventure brings you face-to-face with some of the ocean’s top predators in our 120,000-gallon Lost City of Atlantis Shark Exhibit. No need for a diving certification, as every participant (age 12 and up, with those aged 12-17 requiring a parent or guardian) is accompanied by a qualified Shark Dive Instructor.

Please be aware that all participants must sign and submit a Liability Waiver before their dive.

Shark Dive participants receive all necessary gear, including a wetsuit, scuba equipment, and an underwater mask that permits normal breathing and communication underwater.

Each Shark Dive experience includes an educational session about sharks, featuring a guided tour of their environments, a lesson with a safety briefing, and the dive itself.
