Jones Beach – Long Island

A fireworks extravaganza will light up the sky above Jones Beach State Park, synchronized with a selection of patriotic songs. Get there early, as the parking lots fill up quickly. The 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular is back this year, with the fireworks show starting at 9:30 PM. Characters from Beauty and the Beast and Spiderman will roam the boardwalk between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, offering opportunities for photos and interactions with the public. A live band will perform from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM and again from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM after the fireworks display.

Coney Island

Coney Island’s 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza will illuminate the night sky on July 4, 2025, starting at 9:30 PM, with fireworks launched from the beach near Steeplechase Plaza. This 20-minute spectacle, sponsored by the Alliance for Coney Island, showcases brilliant bursts over the Atlantic Ocean, visible from the boardwalk between West 10th and West 15th Streets. Plan to arrive by 7 PM to find a good spot on the beach or boardwalk, as crowds gather early. Bring a blanket or beach chair for added comfort, and pack some snacks to enjoy while you wait. The event is free, making it an affordable highlight of the holiday. Families, couples, and groups of friends contribute to the energetic atmosphere, while music from nearby vendors enhances the festive vibe.
