North Pole, New York is a small hamlet and popular Christmas-themed tourist destination located in the Adirondack Mountains of northern New York State, near the town of Wilmington and about 12 miles from Lake Placid. The original Christmas-themed amusement park in the U.S., Santa’s Workshop – North Pole, New York.

• Bring cash for some of the old-fashioned games and feed for the reindeer.
