18th Century Tavern Nights at the Queens County Farm Museum. The Queens County Farm Museum is NYC’s only remaining 18th-century farm (established in 1772 and spanning 47 acres), hosts immersive 18th Century Tavern Nights as a popular seasonal event. These dinners transport guests back to colonial Queens through authentic historical reenactments, traditional cuisine, and storytelling in the museum’s restored Adriance Farmhouse (built around 1770). The events highlight the vital role taverns played in 18th-century social and political life, offering a “taste of roots” with education on local history.
