Winter 2026 brings New York’s culinary celebration back to life from January 20 through February 12. Since its 1992 inception, NYC Restaurant Week has transformed into a citywide feast spanning all five boroughs with over 600 participating establishments. The format remains elegantly simple: prix-fixe menus at $30, $45, or $60 per person for either a 2-course lunch (Sunday brunches often included) or 3-course dinner. Restaurant week opens doors to everything from neighborhood favorites to Michelin-starred destinations.

Bookings began January 7, with prime times disappearing quickly and remember that beverages, gratuity and tax aren’t included. Saturdays generally aren’t participating days (but check with the restaurant), and Sunday availability varies. For three weeks, the city’s legendary dining scene becomes surprisingly accessible—a rare chance to experience culinary excellence without the typical Manhattan premium.
