Celebrations traditionally last 15–16 days, culminating in the Lantern Festival on March 3, 2026 (the date of the next full moon).The holiday is widely observed across Asia and in diaspora communities worldwide, featuring traditions like family reunions, feasts, red envelopes (for luck), fireworks, lion dances, parades, temple visits, cleaning homes to sweep away bad luck.
